The main research activities of ICBNet Laboratory are:
- Design of broadband networks services using object oriented technologies (CORBA, JAVA, JSP, UML, XML).
- Study and development of mobile agents for new services (platforms: JADE, Grasshopper, LEAP-JADE etc).
- Development of privacy oriented context-aware services for mobile/ubiquitous computing.
- Development of new services for mobile networks (GPRS, UMTS, 3GPP, beyond 3G) and mobile telephony applications.
- Development of context-aware adaptive services for mobile and fixed subscribers.
- Development of services for mobile IP and IPv6.
- Development of new services over IP networks (VPNs, VoIP, traffic engineering), providing Quality of Service (QoS).
