Dr. Panagiotis K. Gkonis was born in Athens, Greece in August 30, 1981. He received the Diploma Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and PhD degree from the Electrical and Computer Engineering School of National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece, in 2005 and 2009, respectively. He currently works as a postdoctoral researcher in the Intelligent Communication and Broadband Networks Laboratory (ICBNET) of NTUA. Ηe is also a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece. Scientific interests: Physical layer transmission techniques for cellular networks with adaptive antennas and MIMO systems Next generation wireless networks (transmission protocols, radio resource management) Heterogeneous Networks
